My favorite shoes for spring!

If there’s anything I love more than beauty, it’s FASHION. I remember when I was a little girl, I could only get a new pair of shoes if I threw an old pair away. It always drove me crazy – why can’t an itty bitty girl have countless pairs of shoes?

But moooommmmmmm……

My solution was to toss an old pair in the way back of my closet and tell my parents I had thrown them away. Worked like a charm, every time.

I have more pairs of shoes than I honestly know what to do with. Some people collect coins. Some people collect stamps. I collect shoes.

Everyone has their thing… right?

Spring is my favorite time to go shoe shopping. In fact, spring has always been a huge inspiration for me. For my admission portfolio to FIDM, I designed a whole line around spring. Everything is pastel, and floral, and lacy, and TO DIEEE FOR.

By far, my favorite shoe for spring is a nude heel. There’s so many different styles and shades of “nude” and outfits that they can be worn with. SWOON.

Here are a few of my favorites (nude and colorful) that spring can’t be without:

Pavia Pump – Okay, so, these aren’t nude, but they are SO cute. I bought these recently because I love how different they are. You could wear these with a dress to date night, or with jeans to brunch. They’re so versatile and surprisingly, really comfortable.

Callista Geometric Pump (in Floral Leather) – Everything about this pair screams, “SPRING IS THE BEST!!” I’m a total sucker for anything Vince Camuto, so when I saw these on the sale rack (80% off, hello!), I wasn’t leaving without them. And I’m so glad I made that decision.

Ledina Sandal (in Nude Suede) – YES for nude sandals. These were also a recent purchase for me, and I’m so obsessed. I halfway dressed them up with black skinny jeans, a black off-the-shoulder top, and a french braid, and let me tell you – they MADE the outfit. I could’ve worn them all night, and the ties in the back are totally the cherry on top.

Loriah Sandal (in Taupe) – Admittedly, I wanted these in Burnt Orange, but they were out of stock, so I “settled” for Taupe and have zero regrets. These are completely on-trend right now but are also timeless. While I do enjoy trends, I really prefer something that I know I can wear year after year. These are that.

Honorable Mentions:

Neo Courtset Sneaker (in Blush) – Who knew Adidas were coming back into style? I bought these a few weeks ago and love them. I have weird-shaped feet – high arches, wide toe bed – so shoes are either a hit or miss (typically right away). These felt like a miss when I first put them on, but on my walk to work, I realized they were totally a hit. I’ll be wearing these for a LONG time.

Cigola Flat (in Blush) – I really wanted these to work for me, but they didn’t. Remember that weird-foot-thing I have? Yea, sigh. But these are perfect for spring, and I’m sure will serve a lot of people well.

Larise Bootie (in Tan) – Last but not least. These aren’t quite my style (right now), but I’m hoping they will be soon because I see them on people all the time and fall in love. I love the perforations and the cute split mid-foot.

Hope you all enjoyed this week’s Fashion Wednesday post!
